     This course is divided into 15 lessons and combines lectures with hands-on student participation. To maximize hands-on practice with QuickBooks, a computer lab is used with one computer per student.

     Each lesson begins with a list of student objectives and most lessons include one or more handouts that summarize or illustrate the main points and are helpful for future reference. Special notes appear at key places throughout the lesson text that help to present the lesson material and selected visual presentations may be used to further enhance the learning experience.

     The main focus of the lessons is on how to use the features of QuickBooks Pro version, but it also contains features available only in QuickBooks: Premier and higher editions of QuickBooks software. Although not specifically addressed, many of the lessons describe procedures that will work with QuickBooks: Enterprise Solutions.

     Every effort will be made to address specific QuickBooks features as they apply to the unique needs of the individual students.
